The Atkins Library lies at the heart of the UNC Charlotte campus and directly supports the teaching, research, learning and scholarly activities on campus.

On a typical day, it serves more than 11,000 on-site and virtual users.  It houses 1 million volumes and has access to over 33,000 electronic and print journals. More than 250 public computer workstations, 50 lending laptops, and a host of equipment such as data projectors, digital cameras and video cameras for student use are available.
