UNC Charlotte’s motorsports engineering program is so strong that more than 30 recent graduates are working for race teams in NASCAR and other leagues.

Some of the current Motorsports Engineering courses offered by the William States Lee College of Engineering include: Automotive Power Plants, Vehicle Aerodynamics Road Vehicle Dynamics, Motorsports Instrumentation, Motorsports Engineering Clinics I, II and III; Discrete Mechanical Vibration Systems, Individualized Study.
