Since 1996, the women’s and men’s soccer teams compete at Transamerica Field at the Irwin Belk Center. This spacious soccer facility, which rivals any in the country, has played host to several MLS teams; the Charlotte Eagles, a local professional soccer team; the United States national women’s soccer team; Conference USA and Atlantic 10 soccer championships; and several NCAA Tournament soccer games.
